recognition Performs a variety of operations to manufacture,
assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures.
Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to
print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates
and fixtures. Must also be able to drill close tolerance holes.
Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing,
burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting,
countersinking, and cold working. Measures parts with a variety of
methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete
assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs. Works from
blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders.
Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action.
Performs other duties as assigned. No relocation assistance
provided. Preforms corrosion inspection and repair per engineering
requirements. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
equivalent. Must have experience with use of hand tools (i.e.
torque wrench, drills and inspection tools, riveting tools, and
various other hand tools). Ability to read and interpret assembly
Drawings or Instructions. Desired skills Ability to work well in a
team environment as well as be a self-starter Attention to detail.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
