DX is seeking a Software Engineering Manager who has a passion for leading the delivery and execution of various projects in the roadmap of advancing our core commerce platform. We are looking for someone who will lead engineers, project and product managers, and collaborate with other business and tech teams to develop, deliver, and maintain mission-critical applications.
You will:

• Lead and mentor world-class delivery teams consisting of full-stack software engineers, web developers, application architects, product managers, and scrum masters.
  
• Own application development and delivery for multiple large projects.
  
• Collaborate with other tech teams and businesses across sites to deliver projects, develop platform vision and roadmap.
  
• Develop and present project statuses, concepts, and platform roadmaps to senior leaders.
  
• Be responsible for technical analysis, effort estimation, product and system design, architectural evaluation, resource scheduling, delivery milestones, and overall product quality.
  
• Provide technical leadership in implementation, deployment planning, system integration, process improvements, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainability of technical solutions.
  
• Resolve conflicts demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.
  
• Foster a culture focused on quality and experience improvements.
  
• Ensure multiple projects and team objectives are effectively resourced to meet goals.
  
• Engage with stakeholders, vendors, and customers regularly to review priorities and updates.
  
• Manage project timelines and financials including budgets, costs, invoices, and contracts.
  
• Support on-call responses to operational issues and work beyond normal hours as needed.
  
  Required Skills & Experience:
  
  
• 8+ years of development experience, preferably full-stack.
  
• 5+ years managing engineering and technology delivery teams.
  
• Experience with scalable architectures, Java, REST, NoSQL, and Event-Driven Architecture.
  
• Designing architectures that ensure resiliency and performance.
  
• Managing globally distributed teams using Agile methodologies.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production and test environments.
  
• Experience in large media, technology, or internet companies.
  
• Proven success in achieving technology goals on time and within budget.
  
• Comfort with complex, matrixed organizations and ambiguity.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in executive presentations.
  
• Experience with software development lifecycle platforms and tools.
  
  Preferred Skills & Experience:
  
  
• Experience in commerce, products, pricing, and inventory domains.
  
• Experience in travel and hospitality industries.
  
  Education:
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  
• Master's degree preferred.
