Program Overview - 12 weeks in duration. - Comprehensive training provided by SimonMed Imaging, both didactic and clinical. - Expand your expertise and knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, and pathology. - Become proficient in using mammography equipment and software. - Board preparation. What you’ll do: - Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with precision to ensure exceptional image quality. - Learn and master mammography techniques through hands-on cross-training. - Position patients accurately and prioritize their safety and comfort. - Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety and quality control FDA/MQSA standards. - Collaborate directly with radiologists and follow protocols. - Maintain accurate medical records and follow all compliance protocols for imaging. - Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and imaging practices. Who you are: - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required with a current state licensure. - 1 yrs of X-Ray Technologist experience with an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent, from an accredited program. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - Strong knowledge of x-ray fundamentals, practice ALARA. - Excellent communication and patient care skills.
