HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN Charge for our Riverview Freestanding Emergency Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient management of departmental operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for healthcare innovation. Working with top professionals in a fully equipped facility, the RN Charge will address critical situations with expertise and compassion, maintaining our commitment to excellence in patient health outcomes. Oversee daily operations of the emergency department. Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with medical and support teams. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and health regulations. Manage patient care priorities while providing direct patient support as needed. Act as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital units. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to the training and development of staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in clinical emergency responses. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience with electronic medical record systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida. BLS/ACLS Certification required. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred.
