Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This role is critical in providing high-quality radiologic care and services to patients within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. The ideal candidate will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to produce the best diagnostic images, which are pivotal in the planning and assessment of patient treatment plans. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician's orders. Adjust and maintain imaging equipment. Properly position patients and ensure their comfort. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is marked. Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the imaging procedure Proficiency with radiologic technology and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent patient management skills Ability to work both independently and in a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) State licensure if applicable
