Description We are seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician for an
on-site position at our Sarasota, FL office. In this role, the
Ophthalmic Technician will assist in clinical duties such as
conducting diagnostic tests, performing fundus photography,
assisting during ophthalmology procedures, recording detailed
patient histories, and providing scribing support for physicians.
The role may also involve guiding patients through their care
process and ensuring a smooth clinical flow to deliver high-quality
patient care. Qualifications Experience in Ophthalmology and
Optometry with knowledge of clinical operations Proficiency in
Scribing and recording accurate patient information during
consultations Skills in Fundus Photography and other diagnostic
imaging techniques General knowledge of Medicine, particularly
related to eye care Strong interpersonal and communication skills
for patient interaction Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic
Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) is
preferred Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy
clinical environment
