  Job Summary:We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of HR functions, including benefits, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and payroll. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening and coordinating interviews.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, in coordination with benefit plan brokers.
  • Assist with payroll, as needed.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and support performance management processes.
  • Address employee and supervisor inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and Implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address employee relations issues.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics as needed.

    Requirements: Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred .
    • SHRM certification is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in HR Generalist or a related role.
    • Experience working in the government contractor or manufacturing industry is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
    • Experience creating and running reports in the HRIS system.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
